Starting with December 1, 2013 we have opened the call for papers for the 6th edition of the International Conference Rural Space and Local Development (RSLD 2014), on Peripheral Rural Areas between Certain Existence and Uncertain Development, on July 23-27, 2014 in Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA. The event is organized and hosted by the Centre for Research on Settlements and Urbanism, Department of Human Geography and Tourism, Faculty of Geography, Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.
At the same time, starting with december 1, 2013 the first call for papers is open and the early registration is available for all interested. Conference language
The official languages of the conference will be Romanian and English. When needed, we will provide simultaneous translation.
Presentations
All participants are invited to propose papers or poster presentations that should be lectured in English, either in the plenary or in panel sessions. Posters will be displayed during a dedicated session and throughout the conference. Poster presentations represent an important section of the conference. Further details related to the certain amount of time reserved for lectures and discussion will be available at a later date.
Field trip and social activities
We are willing to organise a number of prior and after conference field trips and social activities. Further details will be available in the final programme of the conference.
